Old Fire Hall Museum This historic landmark was built in 1893. The original bell clanged out for 73 years, summoning volunteer firefighters to emergencies. During World War II, the sound indicated the 9pm curfew. Open to the public. Address: Market Square, Mary St, Parry Sound, ON Canada

The changing exhibits at this three-gallery museum cover a variety of subjects, including trapping, First Nations and agriculture. The Avro Arrow exhibit, the famous Canadian aircraft project that ended before production, was created at the museum. Daily discovery programs for young children are offered throughout the summer.
